MITOMAP mtDNA Variant Submission - New Process

• The new process for submitting unpublished human mtDNA variants (point mutations, micro-insertions, or micro-deletions) is to use Mitomaster.
• In Mitomaster, use the sequence or SNV query to analyze your variants.
• After running the query, you will see a button "Submit New Variants to Mitomap". Click this button to access the variant submittal form
• To modify data previously submitted, locate your variant on the VariantSubmissionList page and click on the Details and Citation link for the variant in question. To edit, login as the user who submitted the entry.
